I have five active email addresses. I’ve got a yahoo one that I used to sign up for subscriptions and promotions that I didn’t want associated with my real information. I have a hotmail email address from my late adolescence that I would log into MSN chat with. There’s the family address where we keep track of kid sport and work schedules and payroll. There’s my work email so I don’t bring my 9-to-5 work home with me on my phone/laptop. There’s my business email address for all things life coaching. And there’s my regular email address for everything else.
As I continue to unsubscribe from all the things, I can easily delete my yahoo and hotmail accounts.
I wonder what my Executor will do with the other four, active accounts. Do they just delete them with one click? Does my digital presence need to be turned off when I die? How will this affect my Mourners? I have lots of questions about the internet!
