My puppy Charli moved in with me last year. I spent a pretty penny on her treats, her training, her food, her toys and other items I was marketed! Like every good pup, she prefers to make toys out of everyday human items, and has two favourite balls to fetch (and not bring back…). As she gets older, I’m realizing that I don’t need or want to have all the latest gadgets and toys.
I’m going to get rid of all her broken “tough chewer” toys that she’s ripped apart. I want what’s left to be items that are functional and used frequently. Her outside sticks can stay at the playground’s entrance for the next time she visits. Since her rain jacket doesn’t cover her belly, nor her paws, that’s gotta go too! And that super cute lumberjack sweater that makes her look like a great Canadian is going to the second-hand shop too: great concept, but Charli hates wearing clothes.
I borrowed As a Dog Thinketh from my e-library: let’s see how that book will inspire my dog parenting death cleaning ways! What superfluous pet care item was all the rage when your dog was wee?
